ABOUT THE ARTIST

One of the contenders is Trent Richardson, a camel farmer from Queensland, who emerges into prominence despite facing personal hurdles.

Trent, hailing from Emu Park and aged 22, shares his journey, marked by self-doubt and a recent heartbreak. “I’ve always sang, but I’ve had a lot of self-doubt and been told I’m no good, so to do it for myself and my dad is awesome,” he expresses. His father, John Richardson, describes him as a spirited child with an early inclination towards singing, contributing to his aspirations in music.

Despite his rural upbringing on a camel farm, Trent confronts his fears by auditioning on the show. His song choice, Bless The Broken Road by Rascal Flatts, holds a special significance, echoing his personal experiences of love and loss.
